Hi, I'm Dr. Tramayne
Cultural anthropologist, Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Coach, nationally recognized Top 100 Magazine Innovator, Founder of two mission‑driven health & wellness organizations —AnthroSpa Logic and TransformaWell, a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit.
I’m here to share insights, inspire change, and connect you with the organizations I’ve built to make a difference.
As a speaker, I equip audiences with the tools to thrive in high‑pressure environments by blending evidence‑based wellness, cultural insight, and real‑world leadership experience. A mom of 4, professor and researcher, and Founder of AnthroSpa Logic, LLC, I developed my own science-based clean skincare line, using her background in anthropology and combining ingredients from 6 continents around the globe while teaching as an adjunct professor. I have developed and taught numerous anthropology and sociology courses across topics such as Native American cultures, African cultures, Latin American cultures, research methods, public policy, social problems and identity. I have conducted cultural research in Kenya and the United States and published research articles. I have also developed and teach a course in Sustainable Entrepreneurship as an adjunct professor at Case Western University's Weatherhead School of Management. I recently became a Cornerstone Mentor for the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, mentoring entrepreneurs and start-ups.
I share my experiences and insights as a mom who was inspired by her own interest in visiting spas to rejuvenate herself and health journey to develop a signature, natural clean skincare line that offered anti-aging results without toxic effects. I could not find these options in spas and as someone who liked to make her own natural treatments at home she developed an eco-friendly,100% natural product line.
I became interested in helping people feel better on the inside as well as the outside by becoming a Mayo Clinic Certified wellness coach following the birth of my 4 children. I developed a digital metabolic renewal wellness program for people over 40 to reach their wellness goals holistically and also consults with organizations who want to start wellness initiatives. In addition, I founded a 501 (c ) (3) nonprofit organizations called TransformaWell a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and wellness of communities through education, community outreach and resources empowering healthy lifestyle change to prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, heart disease and cancer.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate and Phi Beta Kappa member, I earned her Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor. As an NSF and Social Science Research Council fellow, I conducted research on cultural identity in Kenya and the United States. I have consulted for major institutions such as the University of Illinois Carle College of Medicine, where I developed wellness centers for Chicago public Schools and curriculum to train youth as community health workers, I bring a rare combination of academic rigor, global perspective, and practical wisdom. My insights have been featured on ABC News, NBC News, Wellness Magazine, CS Modern Luxury, and in the GRAMMY Awards VIP gift bags.
My keynotes and self-care workshops tackle challenges like resilience under pressure, wellness in the workplace, preventing burnout, and healthy lifestyle strategies for optimal performance and chronic disease prevention.
Audiences walk away ready to:
- Protect their well‑being while driving meaningful impact
- Navigate stress with resilience, purpose, and authenticity
- Take control of their health for optimal performance and wellness
If you want a keynote that inspires, empowers, and transforms, I deliver a message that resonates long after the event ends.

Journey
With years of hands-on leadership and a passion for impactful storytelling, I’ve built organizations that inspire change and empower voices.
I grew up on the South Side of Chicago and even as a fifth grader, I was a "closet chemist" experimenting with mixing concoctions with my chemistry set and dreaming of being the CEO of my own company. I thought that I would own a publishing company because I also loved to read and write stories. That passion for storytelling as well as a love of science led me to study cultural anthropology.
In college, I traveled to Kenya on an archaeological dig with the Field Museum and piloted the cultural research that landed me a fellowship to graduate school for my PhD at the University of Michigan. I love to travel and have also travelled to London, Paris, Monaco and Italy.
A busy mom, I wrote my dissertation between 10pm and 2am in the morning while caring for my newborn. After earning my PhD, I taught many courses in the social sciences as a professor. These classes included teaching about different cultures around the world such as Latin American, Native American and African cultures as well as research methods.
I became more focused on my own wellness after having kids and loved to visit spas to rejuvenate myself. However, I noticed a lack of clean, effective, 100% natural skin care options. I started making my own natural treatments at home and used my background in anthropology to research ancient practices used for centuries to care for the skin.
That’s how AnthroSpa Logic was born.
I developed hypertension following life-threatening complications after the birth of my youngest child. That experience made me realize how vital it is to feel good on the inside and out. I became a Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Coach to help others manage chronic conditions like hypertension and transform their lives through self-care.
AnthroSpa Logic is more than skincare. It’s a holistic wellness brand.Today, we offer:
100% Natural Clean Skincare Products
Metabolic Renewal Digital Wellness Programs for those 40+
Consulting and Wellness Workshops for organizations seeking wellness initiatives
Through it all, my mission has remained the same: to help people thrive from the inside out—by bridging culture, science, and wellness in every product and program we offer.
